Course Description:
This half-day workshop will provide a common core of knowledge about tobacco use and tobacco dependence. The workshop will help participants explore their attitudes and beliefs about tobacco use and dependence, review the history of treatment for tobacco dependence, discuss the rationale of addressing tobacco use and dependence in addiction services, and review the requirements of OASAS Regulation Part 856.
Target Population:
Administrators, directors, clinical supervisors, counselors, prevention professionals, nurses, physicians, and support staff.

OASAS Credit: 3.5 hours CASAC, CPP and CPS
