COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This half-day workshop will provide a common core of knowledge about tobacco use and tobacco dependence. The workshop will help participants explore their attitudes and beliefs about tobacco use and dependence, review the history of treatment for tobacco dependence, discuss the rationale of addressing tobacco use and dependence in addiction services, and review the requirements of OASAS Regulation Part 856.
*A technical assistance meeting will be offered from 1:30 pm to 3 pm in the same location on the same day of the training; bring your policy and/or questions for an open discussion. RSVP for the meeting will be handled separately from training registrations; please email Audrey@tobaccofreemc.org to RSVP for the meeting.

Administrators, directors, clinical supervisors, counselors, prevention professionals, nurses, physicians, and support staff.
