Course Description:

A 1/2 day workshop which will introduce patients to screening tools for tobacco use and dependence, and will address assessment of change readiness, diagnostic criteria of tobacco dependence, and withdrawl, and pharmacotherapy including nicotine replacement therapy and non-nicotine medications. 
OASAS Credit: 3.5 hours CASAC, CPP and CPS.
Prerequisite: Module 1- The Foundation
 
Target Population:
Counselors, clinical supervisors, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants and other clinical staff.
